How do I join AMSA COC?
Joining AMSA CoC is very easy. All you have to do is attend an event to start earning points.
What are points and how do I earn them?
Event points are given to members who are active and participate in club activites. A different amount of points are assigned to each event depending on the length and location of the activity.
What the reason for earning points?
Once you earn 250 points, you can fill out paperwork to have AMSA put on your transcript. This looks great when transferring and is great to add to resumes.
I can not attend general meetings. Can I still be a member?
Yes! You can still be a member if you do not attend general meetings.
How do I get AMSA to appear on my transcript?
In order for AMSA to appear on your transcript, you must attain 250 points and pay a small club fee of $10.00. After reaching the point requirement and paying the fee, a transcript verification form must be filled out (by the student) and signed (by the advisor). The form can be found under the DOCUMENTS tab above. After the verification form is completed and turned into Student Development, AMSA will appear on your transcript.
